The design of this double-ended accessory is based on the iconic scepter of Napoleon I, the highest sign of sovereignty and power in 19th-century France.

The slender rod is individually hand-crafted by Monsieur Jean-Pierre, private silversmith to Devambez, and presented in a hand-crafted, crocodile-texture embossed paper case made by Monsieur François, private box maker to Devambez. It is engraved with the Devambez insignia and hallmarked with the head of Minerva, indicating the composition is of certified precious metals.
