Messieurs Jean-Claude and Vincent operate one of the last ateliers in the world that specialized in the creation of antique letterpress typography and hand wood engraving. They are the printers of the limited edition Goyard book published by Devambez in 2010. Their company was founded in 1946.
Monsieur Francois purveys the boxes for Chanel and Hermes. His cartonnage are individually constructed by hand at his Paris atelier. His company has the label Living Heritage Company (EPV, Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant) and was founded in 1830.
Monsieur Jean-Pierre is one of the last master silversmiths in France creating custom forged flatware and tools in precious metals. His Paris atelier has the label Living Heritage Company (EPV, Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant) and was founded in 1910.
Monsieur Patrick is in charge of our gold leaf marquage and was honored by the French government with the title of «Maitre d’art» Craft National Living Treasures. Monsieur Patrick gives his personal attention to our gold leaf marquage at his Paris atelier.
Madame Nathalie was honored by the French governement with the title of «Meilleur Ouvrier de France» for her specialty in engraving. Her traditional practices reject the use of laser and all of her work is hand pushed. Her atelier is in Paris.
Madame Sophie was head of marquage at the Goyard workshop for fifteen years. She creates all of our hand painted marquage at her atelier in the south of France.
For all our carton blanc rolling paper covers, Devambez uses a 100% cotton paper made by Gmund, a German paper mill founded in 1829. Only FSC-certified components and material from controlled cultivation are used in the production of this paper.
