Twelve books held in a python-texture embossed paper case, these exclusive matches are a collaboration with a storied craftsman: the Rosselli family, owners of the last surviving traditional workshop in Europe.
They are quick-burning, without the synthetic preservatives and chemicals of a mainstream match, and offer a sensuous, solid feel on the fingers with each strike.
In 1820, Philippe Barrier founded the first match factory in Tuscany. By 1853, the factory had been taken over by Giuseppe Rosselli. For nine generations, the Rosselli family has created poplar wood matches known for their exceptional quality, and with the Fabbrica di Fiammiferi, that legacy continues.
These matches are deeply infused with nearly two centuries of heritage, an evocation that is illuminated with each graceful strike.
